About us
Meals of Wheels of Charlotte County is a 501(c) Non-Profit organization which has been serving the Charlotte County community since 1969. The Main Office, Kitchen and Thrift Store which raises revenue in support of funding meals are all located at 3082 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, FL. Each day approximately 150 meals are cooked, packaged and delivered from our facility.
Please consider helping us in one of the following ways:
- Making a donation in any amount that is comfortable for you,
- Bringing donations of clothing, previously loved household items and furniture to our thrift store
- Volunteering as a driver or to help in our thrift store or kitchen
Your gift of support will have a tangible impact on the lives of housebound seniors in our delivery area in Charlotte County.

ADOPT A SENIOR
Did you know Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County is a completely independent non-profit? The means we do not receive any financial help from Charlotte County or the State of Florida. We depend on donations for our everyday operating expenses.
The more donations we are able to receive the more seniors we are able to provide meals to that may not otherwise sign-up due to financial hardship.
Your donation, combined with others, will help provide meals for a home bound senior in the Charlotte County area!
All donations proceeds stay in Charlotte County.
For only $25 you can provide a senior with five days’ worth of hot, nutritious lunches delivered directly to their door.
This is equivalent to a coffee every day at your local coffee shop!
For only $100 you can provide a senior with a months’ worth of hot nutritious lunches delivered directly to their door (20 days on average)
This is equivalent to a family of four dining out for one evening at an inexpensive restaurant.
For only $1,200 you can provide a senior with a year worth of hot nutritional lunches delivered directly to their door. (240 days per year on average)
This is equivalent to breakfast and coffee at your local fast food chain on your way to work each day.
