Keith B. Meyer is a renowned chef and the proud owner of F.M. Don’s Restaurant, located in the heart of Punta Gorda, Florida. His journey to culinary excellence began after he graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, in 1993. With a degree in hand, Keith initially returned to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, where he embarked on a career as a financial adviser.
However, Keith's true passion lay in the culinary arts. In 2002, he made a life-changing decision to pursue this passion by moving to New York City. There, he honed his skills at the prestigious French Culinary Institute, where he trained under some of the industry's most esteemed chefs.
Keith's culinary journey in New York was marked by success, as he spent nine years working in two Michelin-starred restaurants, refining his craft and building a reputation for excellence. Eventually, he decided to bring his talents to Southwest Florida, where he now delights diners with his innovative cuisine at F.M. Don’s Restaurant.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Keith is happily married to Stacey Deffenbaugh Meyer, and together they enjoy life in the vibrant community of Southwest Florida.
