Valerie serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County and is deeply committed to advancing our mission of nourishing and supporting seniors in our community.

As co-owner of Above & Beyond Senior Placement and Consulting, Inc., a Charlotte County based business, Valerie works closely with seniors and their families to help them transition from home, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals into senior living communities. Her professional experience gives her valuable insight into the challenges seniors face and strengthens her dedication to ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and supportive resources that help them remain independent.

Valerie also volunteers her time with several local organizations and serves on the hospital ministry team at New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte. Prior to working in senior services, she spent many years in the hospitality industry with Marriott and Hilton Hotels, where she developed her strong service-oriented approach.

 Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Valerie loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, along with meaningful connections with friends and the seniors she serves. Her passion for making a positive difference in the lives of seniors aligns closely with the mission of Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County, and she is honored to serve on the Board in support of that work.
