Wendy joined our organization in December of 2020, initially as a store associate. Her remarkable passion and unwavering commitment to our mission led to her swift promotion to Program Assistant. This role allowed her to engage directly with our clients, guiding them through the onboarding process of our program. Throughout her tenure, Wendy received training across all facets of our organization, which paved the way for her current role as Program Manager.

 Apart from her invaluable experience with us, Wendy has over 30 years of experience in office administration and management. Her career is marked by a diverse range of roles, including working in the loan department of a bank, managing a construction office, and serving as an office administrator at a local women's center. 

 Wendy's dedication to her community, particularly to seniors, makes her an invaluable member of our team. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that seniors feel valued and supported, embodying the spirit of our mission. Her innovative ideas and compassionate approach are crucial to our work, positively impacting many lives. We are fortunate to have such a committed and caring individual among us. 

 Wendy feels strongly about getting  the word out about our mission, stressing that no  senior should ever have have to worry about food.  Stating " These seniors  were once our teachers, little league coaches, religious instructors, the parents or grandparents of our friends, the people who looked out for us when we were young.  We need to return the favor.  Hopefully there will be someone there for us if we need it." 

 Wendy has two sons who reside in her home state of Pennsylvania with her cherished grandchildren. In her leisure time, if she’s not enjoying a good book while relaxing on the beach, she’s out exploring new restaurants with her friends. She also cherishes her weekend thrift store shopping with her mom, particularly at Finders Keepers.
